On Saturday, January 28, 2017, the 13th Annual Daytona 5K Run and Fun Walk will take place. IMSA fan Michael Goodwin has run in this event the past couple years in a tutu to raise money and awareness for Camp Boggy Creek, a proud charity of IMSA.
You are invited to join TEAM TUTU and run with Michael on the historic Daytona International Speedway on January 28th or support other Team Tutu members' fundraising goals.
To run or walk in this event, registration must be completed separately through the event's website. Please register for the 13th Annual Daytona 5K by clicking here.
Michael's goal is $4,500, which covers the cost for one child to experience these life-changing programs during a summer camp session and one family to attend a retreat program. He hopes to double his goal and you can help by participating in the event or supporting Michael or his team members. If you have any questions about Camp Boggy Creek, please email Sharon at email@example.com.
Camp Boggy Creek was founded by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman and Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf. The Camp welcomes children with serious illness ages 7 – 16 years free of charge. Open year round, this state-of-the-art medical camp provides week long summer sessions for more than 1,100 children and retreat programs for more than 550 families between September and April.
